CABINOTE
In a year-long mobile app design program, I learned the process of UI/UX design through professional team collaboration. After meeting with our client, my team and I analyzed the app market in our research and defined expectations and goals for the targeted audience before proceeding to sketch and wireframe the app. The second client meeting consisted of feedback and revisions before finalizing the design. After obtaining approval for the design, we created a prototype in Figma and conducted user testing. The last few months were spent learning how to develop the app using Xcode’s Swift language for iPhone users. A final meeting was held with a fully designed PowerPoint presentation of the mobile app.
CALCULATOR WEBSITE
To learn about UI design, I created a standard calculator using HTML and CSS. I started with a code that enabled the mathematical functions and made a general layout of the calculator as my wireframe. Once I had a functional calculator, I added color, type, and rollover states to enhance the user experience. To further customize the calculator design, I drew inspiration from the work of a well-known graphic design studio, bringing the calculator to life with colorful buttons and playful shapes.

CO TRUYEN
Co Truyen is a small family business based in Vietnam known for its traditionally homemade salted lemon jars. The website is designed to inform customers of the health benefits salted lemons are known for and how to use them in recipes. It also offers a shop to purchase the jars directly and shares customer reviews to verify that buyers are satisfied with their products. The site is translated into two languages: English and Vietnamese, enabling localization for foreign and native customers.
